Message	friends with your ex right away. I promise you, the first time you see her laughing and having a good time with someone else, and you not being her center of attention, it's going to kill you. I'd advise steering clear of her, the best you can, for at least a few months. It's been 5 months now for me, and I still can't deal with seeing her with my roommate (ex-best friend).
